Art4fans form a collaboration of people with an interest in celebrating individuals who have excelled in a particular field. Maybe a sporting hero from a football, cricket or rugby team, an athlete, someone from the world of music, or from a particular walk of life. As a collective we also aim to recognize those supporters who have a history of following the individuals who have gained recognition. 

It all began from a coffee meeting at the Downs Cafe, following Neil´s visit to Liverpool for a weekend. What he saw there in murals around the streets of Anfield was inspirational and during coffee we shared some ideas and quickly became excited to join forces to make this happen... The concept of our Art creations involve celebrating the contributor as much as the personality... Here we are now some twelve months on from our launch, and due to the support we have received from contributors, we have managed to produce two celebrated murals in South Bristol and a third has just been launched launched . We have invited enthusiastic supporter Adrian Ashby, to join us and he has been the driving force behind this latest project.  Located adjacent to the Coopers Arms public house in Ashton Road. the mural is called ´Goal Makers & Ace Strikers´ the piece features players from the 

1950´s to the 1990´s. 

Adrian has chosen Bristol based Artist Andrew Burns Colwill to produce an exciting design based on realism and in celebrating the passion that so many people share for the players who are featured. We are delighted to join Adrian in dedicating this latest mural in celebration of the lives of supporters of the club who have gone on ahead.

We hope you will enjoy a tour through our mural collection. Our first regional location is in Ashton Road, South Bristol. We began in celebrating a local hero who became the Golden Boy of the area during the mid 1960's to the late 1970's and early 80's footballer Chris Garland. Select the Chris Garland button for more information...Our second mural celebrated two more local footballing hero's in Geoff Merrick and Louis Carey. Our latest project has just been completed and was launched on Saturday 14th December. It features 6 'Goal makers and Ace Strikers' from the 1950's to the 1990's. 

Below each of our murals is displayed a list of contributors who, by their generosity, have enabled our murals to be produced. We are delighted to be able to offer a platform for their own stories.
